Harakeke Strawberry Farm

Harakeke Berries is a commercial-scale strawberry-growing operation based in Kaitoke, Whanganui. This site is currently 3.6 hectares of covered long tunnels growing strawberries in semi-hydroponics on tabletops. Harakeke Berries will expand to approximately 6 hectares in the near future. From October through to May each year, Harakeke Berries produces premium strawberries known for their exceptional taste. Our fruit supplies customers across the lower North Island and extends as far south as Christchurch in the South Island.
